Simba FC humbles Free Stars as Buganda Regional league gets underway

The Buganda Regional League kicked off on Sunday 29th October with twelve games.

Alex Gitta’s Simba FC humiliated Free Stars 5-0 at Bishops grounds in Mukono.

Andrew Sekayombya, Evans Kenneth and Isaac Ssenyunja scored each for Simba FC, the other two goals was a brace from Robert Ssewanyana.

First half goals from Denis Kiggundu and Arafat Sentongo handled Manyangwa FC a 2-0 victory against Seeta United in Gayaza.

Kira United defeated Luweero United 1-0 in Kira courtesy of Henry Wamala’s goal.

Buwambo United and Kajjansi United played to a goalless draw in Buwambo.

Francis Ndahura was on target as debutants Entebbe Pride FC overcame Nyendo FC at Kalagala grounds.

Matchday two will be played on Sunday 5th November.
