FUFA 2nd Vice President Darius Mugoye passes on

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has on Tuesday morning, 7th November confirmed the death of it’s 2nd Vice President Darius Mugoye.

According to FUFA, Mugoye breathed his last at Mengo Hospital in Kampala.

“We are saddened by the news of the demise of the FUFA 2nd Vice President Mr. Darius Mugoye which happened today morning (Tuesday 7th November 2023) at Mengo Hospital.”

Mugoye played a key role as Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania successfully won the race to Co-host the 2027 AFCON under the PAMOJA bid.

Besides working as a football administrator, Mugoye was also the director of St.Mary’s New Hope Schools Nabweru.

Burial arrangements are yet to be revealed by the Federation and his family.
