Uganda U-18 head coach Morley Byekwaso has named a provisional squad of 32 players to start preparations for the forthcoming CECAFA U-18 tournament due in Kenya.
The provisional team has four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, eight midfielders and 10 forwards.
The summoned squad comprises of Travis Mutyaba (Dinamo Tbilisi, Georgia), Oscar Mawa who features for Lucera Calcio in Italy and John Paul Dembe (Bk Hacken, Sweden).
The CECAFA U-18 Boys Championship is scheduled to take place from November 25 to December 9 in Kenya.
The summoned Uganda U18 provisional squad:
Goalkeepers; Abdu Magada (Gaddafi FC), Siraje Bieven Etuta (Vipers SC JT), Aziz Saleh (BUL FC JT) and Darren Aine (St Mary’s College Kisubi).
Defenders; Louis Anguti Amagu (Lugazi FC), Hafidhu Ssonko Ssembatya (Prosper SA), Derek Luzinda (Queens Park Rangers, England), Hakim Wandera (Prosper SA), Peter Abalirya (Kibuli SS), Simon Mukisa (SC Villa), Julius Barasa (BUL FC), Stephen Namaisi (Kataka FC), Steven Mugisha (Prosper SA) and Yasin Masambo (BUL FC JT).
