Mubiru’s backroom staff at KCCA FC revealed

KCCA FC new head coach Abdallah Mubiru will work with Kefa Kisala and Jackson Magera as his assistants.

The former Proline FC coach replaces Portuguese tactician Sergio Traguil who was sacked at last month due to a poor string of results at the Lugogo based side.

Mubiru has been appointed on a two year employment contract at the Lugogo based side.

He was unveiled by the Club Patron, his Worship, the Lord Mayor for Kampala, Ssalongo Erias Lukwgo on Monday.

The club has been under the interim stewardship of Jackson Magera Kaddu.

Mubiru has been jobless after leaving his role with Tanzania side Mbeya city at the end of last term.

Abdallah Mubiru has also coached the national men’s football team.

He returns to the club he coach 8 years ago and has also coached Police and Vipers SC.

Mubiru beat double winning coach Alex Isabirye to the job will be tasked to lift the club from it’s current turbulence.

Mubiru will work with Kefa Kisala, Jackson Magera and Felix Ayobo as his assistants at the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions.

The move sees Kisala return to football management since his departure at Fountain Gate in Tanzania.

He has also previously coached at Maji FC, Masaka Local Council, Iganga Town Council, URA FC, BUL FC, Express FC and UPDF FC.

KCCA FC cruised to their first win of the campaign with a 3-1 victory over Vipers SC on Friday.
