Big League side Lugazi FC have appointed promotional expert Richard Makumbi as their new head coach.
As earlier reported by this website Makumbi will replace William Kyeswa who was suspended by the club a fortnight ago.
At the time, Kyeswa has been suspended the club have been under the interim guidance of ssistant coach Gerald Efiti.
Makumbi is a veteran coach who has been active for the last 31 years.
He has successfully guided a total of 12 clubs to topflight football.
These include Vipers (Bunamwaya), BUL FC, Soana, Iganga Town Council, Fire Masters, Mbarara City and Buikwe Red Stars.
Others are SCOUL, Mukono Lions, Utoda and Kenya’s Western Stima.
Meanwhile, Lugazi currently 6th on the Big League table with 11 points from the six games they have played so far. They next face off with Kiyinda Boys on Thursday, 16th November.
