KCCA FC’s season descended deeper into crisis after a 2-1 defeat to Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium on Wednesday.
A seventh defeat of the season in the league is the latest blow for the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions.
Mbarara City came from a goal down to register their second win of the season.
Goals from Sadat Nsubuga and Henry Kitegenyi inspired Mbarara City to only their second win of the campaign.
Ashraf Mugume had given KCCA FC the lead in the 34 minute but it shortlived when Nsubuga restored parity for the home side two minutes later.
In the second period, Kitegenyi fired the Ankole Lions into the lead to send the home fans into delight.
Mbarara City head coach Wasswa Bbosa was sent off for continued protesting but his side held on to maximum points.
KCCA are yet to register victory on the road this term, they have lost four and only managed a stalemate away from home.
The Abdallah Mubiru coached team also remain winless at Kakyeka Stadium, losing three and drawing as many.
Defeat leaves KCCA languishing in the drop zone with only seven points after 10 games and next host rejuvenated Bright Stars on 12th December at Lugogo.
Mbarara City are now on 11 points and next face UPDF FC on 11th December.
