Wakiso Giants cruised to their first home of the season with a 3-0 win over Busoga United.
Kenneth Kimera struck twice for the Purple Sharks who moved out of the red zone.
Hassan Ssenyonjo scored the other goal for John Luyinda coached side.
Busoga United’s Basham Mugwa missed a penalty.
Kimera gave Wakiso the lead in the 7th minute before completing his brace in the 17th minute.
With five minutes to halftime breather, skipper Ssenyonjo scored the third for the home side moments after Mugwa had missed a penalty.
In the second period there were no more goals despite Wakiso Giants’ dominance.
Victory sees them move out of the red zone and are now 13th on the Uganda Premier league log with 10 points and one behind Busoga.
