Mbarara City and Kitara grind out drab stalemate

Mbarara City FC and Kitara FC played out to a goalless stalemate in their league game on Wednesday at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.

There were no goals to separated the two sides.

The game saw former Mbarara City head coach Brian Ssenyondo return to his former paymasters.

Players Jude Semugabi, Jasper Aheebwa, Paul Mucureezi and Solomon Okwalinga also made a return to Mbarara.

Mbarara City remain unbeaten since their 1-0 defeat to NEC FC in the opening game.

Kitara on the other hand have only won twice away from home this term against SC Villa and Wakiso Giants.

Meanwhile, the Ankole Lions had their player Seiri Arigumabo rushed to hospital after a concussion.

The result sees Kitara FC stay third with 23 whereas Mbarara City are now ninth with 13 points they have so far garnered this term.
