The Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda together with MPU have launched the Busiika Sprint championship.
The event will red mark calenders of different revellers on December 26th, 2023 at the Busiika Ground.
Fans and drivers have been cautioned about safety ahead of the event.
“We are hopeful of a successful and exciting event on Boxing day. Sprint championship was separated from the main championship and it has existed for over 12 years now.”
“Our sport moves hand in hand with safety, so we are going to be strict in terms of safety just like UPDF and Police have assured us. We all know what happens during the festive season, so people should be cautious about road safety as well.” Said FMU Vice President Reynolds Kibira at the official launch
The event will start in the morning with lots of entertainment throughout the day and later rally.
