Vipers SC host BUL FC in the Uganda Premier League game of the season so far as the two teams battle under the floodlights of Kitende on Friday to be top of the table on Christmas Day.
The Venoms and the Eastern Giants are separated by just two at the summit and will each look to put down a marker during the festive period.
BUL FC are currently top of the log with 26 points while Vipers are second on 24 points.
Vipers missed a chance to move above BUL FC by being held to a 1-1 draw with Maroons FC last time out.
BUL FC also had a chance to extend their lead at the top but only settled for a 1-1 stalemate with NEC in their previous game.
Abbey Kikomeko’s side famously have a torrid record away to the Venoms, having not beaten Vipers on their own patch since 2016.

Abdu Lumala out again with a groin.
BUL FC will be without suspended duo of Walter Ochora and Ben Tahomera while Pascal Ngoobi is out injured.
They will however be boosted by the return of Reagan Kalyowa and Ronald Otti.
