Uganda Premier league champions Vipers SC have been rocked by the exit of their goalkeeping coach Ibrahim Mugisha.

Swift Sports Uganda understands that Mugisha has decided to leave his role at the six time Uganda Premier league champions.

He will now seek his fortunes elsewhere following his exit at the Kitende based side.

The development comes just a day after the sacking of head coach Leonard Martins Neiva.

Mugisha was appointed as Vipers SC goalkeepers’ coach in January 2020 replacing Moses Oloya.

He has previously served in the same capacity at Rwanda National Football team Amavubi Stars, APR (Rwanda) and Proline FC.

As a player, Mugisha featured for Sports Club Villa, URA FC and APR of Rwanda.

Vipers are currently second on the Uganda Premier league table with 24 points and five adrift of leaders BUL FC. They next travel to Express FC on Saturday, 30th December.
