Kitara FC have agreed terms with Express FC captain Arthur Kiggundu, Swift Sports Uganda understands.
Sources reveal that Kiggundu will join the Brian Ssenyondo coached side on a one employment contract.
In case the deal materializes, Kiggundu will boost Kitara’s defence ahead of the second round of the season. He can play as a central defender as well as a left back.
Kiggundu has six months left on his current contract at Express FC.
He was appointed as the Red Eagles captain in September last year following the departure of Allan Kayiwa.
Kiggundu re-joined Express at the start of the 2020/21 season and played a vital role as the club won the League and the Cecafa Kagame Cup.
He has also previously featured for record Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa and Tooro United.
