KCCA continue resurgence with third consecutive victory

KCCA FC continued with their resurgence with a 2-1 win over UPDF FC on Thursday at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds.

Abdallah Mubiru coached side have now won three consecutive games for the first time this term after wins against Soltilo Bright Stars and SC Villa.

The Army side finished the game with 10men after Saddam Ssekimpi was sent off in the 63rd minute.

Ashiraf Mugume was again on the score sheet for the visitors when he found the back of the net in the 20th minute off a perfect Joel Sserunjogi cross.

Ten minutes after the halftime breather, Rashid Faridi levelled matters for the home side.

Filbert Obenchan restored KCCA FC’s lead five minutes later and his goal was enough to maximize points for the Lugogo based side.

KCCA now move to 8th place with 16 points while UPDF FC are second from the bottom with just 9 points.
