Kitara FC ended their first round campaign with a 3-1 comeback win over Soltilo Bright Stars in Masindi on Friday.
Kitara came into this contest at the back of a 2-1 defeat to Busoga United earlier this week.
In their final game of the first round, Paul Mucureezi netted a brace to inspire a comeback victory before Jude Semugabi sealed the win.
Nelson Senkatuka had given the visitors an early lead in the second minute of the game.
Mucureezi restored parity for the host in the 34 minute as the two side went into the halftime breather level.
Five minutes after the recess, Mucureezi fired Kitara into the lead for the first time in the game.
Semugabi put the seal on the victory in added time of the contest.
Kitara are now second on the Uganda Premier league table with 29 points while Bright Stars are 10th with 18 points.
