KCCA FC to part ways with Angolan midfielder Gui

KCCA FC are set to terminate the employment contract of Angolan midfielder Carlos Da Silva Cungulo, Swift Sports Uganda understands.

Gui joined the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions at the start of the just concluded season on a two year deal.

Sources reveal that the club hierarchy has decided to part company with the Angolan native.

Gui joined the Kasasiro Boys when Sergio Traguil was still their head coach but latest indicates that he has been deemed surplus by the Abdallah Mubiru coached side.

Besides KCCA FC, the central midfielder has previously played for Club 1 De Agosto, C.R.D. Libolo, Progresso and GD Interclube all in Angola.

KCCA FC have already agreed terms with Gaddafi FC midfielder Steven Munguchi and BUL FC exciting left footed winger Shafik Nana Kwikiriza.

Goalkeeper Mutwalib Mugolofa has extended his stay at the club on a two year employment contract.

KCCA FC finished fifth on the Uganda Premier league last season with 49 points and also exited the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the quarterfinal stage.
