In a bid to give back to the community, Bebeto Coach Services have joined the fight against cancer through their inaugural Charity Cup that will be about soliciting funds that will go to Mulago Cancer institute.
According to the organisers the tournament will help solicit funds that will go to Mulago Cancer Institute.
Robert Twahirwa, the Chief Executive Officer Bebeto coach Services has called upon other companies to be part of the event.
“This tournament is about us getting together as a community and through sports we believe we can help those in need. I call upon other companies to come and take part in the event.” We believe this tournament will help solicit funds that will go to Mulago cancer institute. As Bebeto we want to give back to the community in such a way, our target is to collect over Shs500m.” Said Twahirwa
The tournament will kickoff on 15th December and run until 25th February next year.
Each participating team will be required to pay a registration fee of Shs500,000, however the first 20 teams to register will only pay Shs350,000.
At least four players who feature in the topflight and second division will be allowed to feature in the tournament.
Matches will be played at Yes Centre in Nsambya, Mess playground and Kibuli playground.
Winners will take home Shs10M, runners Up Shs5M, Third placed Shs3M, Fair play Award Shs2M while all the quarterfinalists will receive a set of jerseys.
