Wakiso Zone will be represented by six schools at the 2026 USSSA National Boys Schools Championship due in Lira next month.
Reigning national champions Buddo SS who won the championship in Ngora last year beating St Mary’s Boarding School Kitende in the final will return to Lira to defend their crown.
At the 2026 Wakiso Zone Qualifiers they finished third following their 1- 0 win over Aiden College at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium.
Kitende who clinched the Wakiso Zone title after beating Kyaddondo SS 2-1 in the final will be in Lira where they will aim for a record extending 12th title.
Kyaddondo despite defeat in the Wakiso Zone also secured a slot in the national along with Greenlight Islamic Secondary and Madina Islamic.
Kitende, Greenlight Islamic Secondary, Madina Islamic, Kyaddondo SS, Aiden College, Buddo SS will all represent Wakiso region in the nationals.
