Former Express midfielder joins Kenya’s Tusker FC

Kenyan giants Tusker have signed former Express FC midfielder John Toki Byamukama.

Swift Sports understands that Byamukama has been training with the Nairobi based club in the past days.

The versatile midfielder impressed before being tied down on a two year contract.

He featured for Gaddafi FC last season but also previously played for Tooro United in the Uganda Premier League and Bumate United in the Big League.

Byamukama won the 2021 league title and the CECAFA Club Championship with Express FC.

Tusker is also home to Ugandan striker Deogratius Ojok who is expected to sign a contract extension with the club.

The 12 time Kenyan champions have table a new contract for the former BUL FC and JMC Hippos striker.

The Brewers missed out on last season’s Kenya Premier League title after finishing a point below the eventual champions Gor Mahia.
