Express FC recorded a fourth straight win with a dominant 3-0 victory over Gaddafi at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku on Saturday.
Isaac Wagoina continued with his scoring form while Alpha Ssali and Andrew Kawooya were also on the score sheet.
Wagoina converted from the spot after being fouled in the forbidden area.
Moments later, Ssali also registered his name on the score sheet with a left footed strike to double the Red Eagles advantage before the halftime breather.
Second half substitute Kawooya put the cherry on the icing of the cake with a spectacular free kick goal to extend Express FC’s lead.
Alex Isabirye coached side also smiled to third consecutive clean sheet and finish the first round in sixth position with 25 points. They will next travel to Mbarara City in first game of the second round.
Gaddafi on the other hand finished the first round in 13th place with 16 points and will next host URA FC on 9th February when the second round resumes.
