Uganda Premier side Express FC are interested in signing Kiyinda Boys FC midfielder Yasser Mugerwa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that negotiations are in advanced stages between the player and club officials.
He is expected to put pen to paper on a one year employment contract with Alex Isabirye coached side.
The box to box midfielder has previous played for URA FC, defunct SC Victoria University, KCCA FC, Ethiopian clubs St. George, Fassil Ketema, Shire Indeselassie, club Sidama Bunna and currently Kiyinda Boys.
He also played for Nkumba University and Mutundwe based Super Cubs Soccer Academy in the lower divisions.
Express FC ended their first round campaign in 6th position with 25 points they accumulated in 15 games.
