NEC FC assistant captain Ronald Owiny Ogenga has returned to his former side UPDF FC.
Swift Sports understands that he has been signed on a loan deal that will see him finish the season with the army side.
He has struggled for playing time which has restricted him to only five games, the last being their 2-0 victory against KCCA FC where he was substituted after only 30 minutes.
Owiny was part of the squad that guided UPDF to top flight promotion in the 2018/19 FUFA Big League season under the stewardship of Steven Bogere.
Ndejje University and Calvary FC are the other former sides for Owiny.
As earlier reported, the Army side also completed the signing of goalkeeper Richard Anyama from Arua Hill SC.
They will face off with Pajule Lions FC at the round of 64 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
In the Uganda Premier League table standings, they are 15th after the first round with only nine points from 15 games.
