Patrick Jonah Kakande will miss SC Villa game against rivals Express

Kitara FC shared spoils in a 1-1 draw with SC Villa in the Uganda Premier league contest that was played at Masindi Stadium.

Brian Aheebwa scored for the hosts in the second period before on form Patrick Jonah Kakande levelled matters for the visitors.

Aheebwa gave Brian Ssenyondo coached side the lead in the 57th minute to send the home fans into delight.

In the 84th minute, Kakande spectacularly restored parity for Dusan Stojanovic’s SC Villa.

SC Villa remain unbeaten away from home and move to 30 points on the log while Kitara stay second with 33 points.

SC Villa will next face Synergy FC in the Stanbic Uganda Cup before taking on Vipers SC on 24th February.

Meanwhile, NEC FC completed a double over Mbarara City FC after a 2-0 win.

Joseph Dhata netted a stroke of halftime after being fed by debutant Gaddafi Wahab.

Rashid Okocha doubled their advantage early in the second.

NEC FC are currently 5th on the table with 30 points while the Ankole Lions are 11th on 20 points.
