Former Express FC and Gaddafi FC left back Sadiq Ssekyembe is close to joining SC Villa.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Ssekyembe is keen on the move to join the record Ugandan champions.
The left back is currently training with the 16 time Uganda Premier League champions with the deal expected to be completed soon.
Dusan Stojanovic’s side want to boost their left back position that has Joseph Kafumbe.
Ssekyembe has previously featured for Katwe United between 2018 to 2019 before he joined Express FC where he won the Uganda premier League and the CECAFA Kagame Cup in Tanzania.
He has also had a stint in the Futsal League with KSPG.
SC Villa have already released Ivan Sserubiri, Davis Ssekajja and Rogers Kiwanuka and have agreed terms with Arua Hill striker Reagan Mpande.
