KCCA FC will welcome table leaders BUL FC in their first game of the second round under the floodlights of Lugogo on Friday.

Abbey Kikomeko’s side current lead the table standings with 33 points they garnered in the first round while KCCA FC who had a poor first round campaign are on 19 points.

Abdallah Mubiru expects a challenging second round but is optimistic his troops will maximize points against the leaders

“It’s is a challenging moment in our league, second round is always challenging. This is a moment where teams are relegated and win trophies, so it is more competitive. We have prepared well both mentality and physically, we are ready to out-compete our opponents. We are going to do what it takes to perform every time we are on the pitch.” Said Mubiru

His counter part Kikomeko is confident that his team will have great performances in the second round and they are well prepared to complete a double over KCCA FC

“It is not going to be an easy game for us because KCCA bounced back from the poor run they had at the start of the first round but we are also determined, we want to keep ourselves on top of the table by getting all the three points from them,” he said.

“The boys are determined and in good shape, and with the training we have had, we shall get all the maximum points from Lugogo.”

“People always say that BUL performs poorly in the second round but that topic is not meant to last forever. As much as we are playing away from home, it may not be easy but this time we shall win.”

“It has not been a common thing here but with the kind of attitude and character we are putting in, we shall win very many games in the second round.” Said Kikomeko
