Uganda Cranes forward William Kizito Luwaga has part ways with Israeli second tier club Hapoel Rishon LeZion.

Luwaga joined the Israeli club as a free agent after his contract on a one year employment contract in August last year following expiration of his contract with Azerbaijani side FK Sabail expired at the end of last season.

He confirmed that his departure at Rishon was due to the ongoing war between Israeli and Pakistan.

“My connection with the Rishon has come to an end with the termination by mutual agreement of the contract that united us. I wish the club all the best and I wish better days for all those who continue to face this time of war.” I also take this opportunity to thank the administration of the club for all the support and understanding.” Said Luwaga via his social media platforms on Thursday

Luwaga had returned to Israel having previously featured for Hapoel Nof Haglil and Hapoel Kfar Saba in the topflight two years.
