Stanbic Uganda Cup: Express FC Vs Rwenzori round of 32 tie brought forward

The FUFA competitions Department has brought forward the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32 tie between Express FC and Rwenzori Lions FC.

The game had earlier been slated for Sunday, 18th February at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku but on the same day, the venue will be hosting the encounter between SC Villa and Synergy FC.

This is why the contest between Express FC and Rwenzori Lions has now been moved to Saturday, 17th February.

The venue and kickoff time remain unchanged while the contest between SC Villa and Synergy FC take place on Sunday as earlier scheduled.

Express FC eliminated MYDA FC 1-0 on Wednesday to reach the round of 32 courtesy of a Innocent Opira own goal.

Rwenzori Lions powered past Kiyinda Boys FC to reach the round of 32.

The Red Eagles are joint competition record winners having won the trophy ten times just like KCCA FC.

Meanwhile, the Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup Round of 32 gets underway on Thursday with three fixtures:

•Mbogo FC Vs Young Simba SC at Kawempe
