The second round of the 2023/24 betPawa Futsal Super League resumed on Thursday with three fixtures that were played at Old Kampala Arena.
Aidenal FC cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Edgars Youth Programme in the first game. This was Aidenal FC’s second consecutive win of the season and move to seven points in 12 games.
In the second, FC Luzira powered to a 7-2 win over Kabowa Dream Team.
Joel Ogwang scored a hat-trick and Samuel Omara bagged a brace in a dominant display, propelling second placed Luzira to within three points off leaders Park FC.
This was Kabowa FC’s sixth defeat of the season and remain eighth on the log with 14 points.
The final match of the day saw Kampala Junior Team break a six-game winless streak with a victory 6-2 over Kawempe.
With this victory, the academy side climbed a spot on the log, now sitting ninth with 13 points.
For Kawempe, they remain bottom with no points so far garnered in their 12 games.
