Onduparaka kick start second round with hard fought win over Kiyinda Boys

Onduparaka FC left it late to win 1-0 against Kiyinda Boys in their club’s first game of the second round at the Greenlight Stadium in Arua.

Bernard Ndifuna who was the captain of the day, scored the all important late winning to seal a deserved win for the Caterpillars.

Ndifuna finished off perfectly from close range following Ezra Bida’s corner kick in the second minute of the added five to send the home fans into a frenzy.

The win took Onduparaka to 20 points in the 9th place while Kiyinda Boys remained on 23 points in the 6th place.

Onduparaka, who are yet to win at least a point away from home, will visit Kyetume FC in their next game.

The Arua based club already unveiled Ahmed Borini as part of their technical team and announced six new signings.

These are; John Rogers Okumu, Ibrahim Musa, Kerepi Jaffer, Nelson Mandela and Sabir Mayor Noah all from Arua Hill while goalkeeper Yunus Dafala was signed from Kaaro Karungi.
