Mbarara City 5-0 Gaddafi FC
Mbarara City recorded a big 5-0 win over relegation strugglers Gaddafi FC in a one sided affair at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.
Midfielder Sadat Nsubuga scored the fastest goal this season as he gave the Ankole Lions an early lead after only 31 seconds.
Joseph Akandwanaho and January transfer signings Pius Wangi (brace) and Benson Muhindo score the other goals to complete the rout.
Akandwanaho who was eventually named the man of the match, headed perfectly from a Yunus Sibira to double the lead in the 45th minute.
Wangi scored his first goal in the Mbarara City colors in the 56th minute, eight minutes after coming off the bench to replace Francis Odongo.
Muhindo also got off the mark as his scored against his immediate paymasters to make it 4-0 in the 80th minute.
Mbarara City midfielder Sadat Nsubuga has scored the fastest goal in the UPL this season.

Wangi put the icing on the cake with his second but also Mbarara City’s fifth in the 81st minute.
Mbarara City moved to the 9th place on 27 points while Gaddafi remained 13th, one place above the relegation zone with 18 points.
Wasswa Bbosa’s men will return to action on 29th March against SC Villa at Wankulukuku while Gaddafi will visit Soltilo Bright Stars on 31st March.
