Duo returns as SC Villa seek revenge against wounded BUL FC

BUL FC will host SC Villa in the rescheduled league game at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru on Friday.

The two sides were slated to face off on 28th February, 2024 but was postponed on the request of SC Villa who had players involved on the National U-20 team.

Abbey Kikomeko’s side come into this contest back of a 1-0 defeat to UPDF FC.

SC Villa on the other hand cruised to a narrow 1-0 win over arch-rivals Express FC in their previous game.

BUL FC will be seeking to complete a double over SC Villa having won the first round meeting 2-1 at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.

A win for BUL FC will see them close the gap on leaders Kitara FC to one point.

SC Villa on the other hand are aiming for their first away victory over BUL FC in league since 2017.

The record Uganda Premier league champions are still unbeaten away from home in the league this term.

The hosts will be without suspended Gerald Ogweti who was sent off in the defeat to UPDF FC. Douglas Muganga remains out injured.

SC Villa will miss the services of Cyrus Kibande, Hakim Mutebi, Abas Kyeyune and their starman Patrick Jonah Kakande who are with the U-20 National team in Ghana for African Games.

They will be boosted by the return of defenders Arnold Odong and Gavin Kizito Mugweri who missed the victory against Express FC due to suspensions.
