The Uganda Premier league Secretariat has confirmed change of venue for URA Vs Vipers on match day of the 2023/24 season.
According to UPL the epic clash will be played on Friday 29th March at MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo and not Mehta Grounds, Lugazi.
This is after URA FC notified the Secretariat that Mehta Stadium will be revamped into a cricket facility in preparation for the forthcoming ICC world Cup.
“It’s on this note that URA FC has requested M#168 URA FC Vs Vipers SC be played at MTN Omondi Stadium-Lugogo as they secure an alternative home ground.”
The tax collectors are set to host their remaining four league games at MTN Omondi.
Meanwhile, the Secretariat has also made some adjustments in the league fixture to allow the players that traveled with the Cranes squad some recovery time.
