Kitara FC failed to extend their lead at the top of the Uganda Premier league after playing out to a goalless stalemate with BUL FC on Friday at Masindi Municipal Stadium.
Kitara could have moved seven points clear with a win over second placed BUL FC.
Kitara’s top scorer this campaign Denis Omedi had the best scoring chances in the game but had his efforts move over the bar.
Brian Ssenyondo coached side stay top of the log with 44 points and four above second placed BUL FC.
BUL FC have only managed one win this year and come into this contest after back to back defeats to SC Villa and UPDF FC respectively.
Kitara will next travel to NEC FC on Thursday, 4th April while BUL FC will host Wakiso Giants on Saturday 6th at Njeru Technical centre.
