Maroons FC are set to complete the signing of former SC Villa striker Bashir Mutanda.
Mutanda is a free agent since last year when he parted ways with Eswatini giants Mbabane Swallows.
He is currently training with Maroons at Luzira who are expected to complete his transfer as the new UPL season inches closer.
Mutanda is expected to boost the Maroons FC striking force after losing their marksman Fred Amaku to Kitara FC.
He has previously featured for Vipers SC, Kirinya JSS (Busoga United), SC Villa and most recently Mbarara City.
Mutanda is expected to be the umpteenth signing made by the Prison Warders in the ongoing transfer window.
Rogers Kiwanuka, Brian Omirambe, Ivan Asaba, Ivan Mayanja, Apollo Kagogwe, Hassan Matovu and Muwadda Mawejje are others.
