FUFA Women Super League champions Kampala Queens have named goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro as their new captain.

Namuleme has played for Kampala Queens since the club was formed in 2016 and led them to their first ever league title last year.
Her successor Nakaziro has previously served as a captain of Lady Doves and won the league title in 2021 in a shortened season at Njeru.
Kampala Queens are second on the table with 24 points, three behind Kawempe Muslim who won their game in hand against She Maroons on Wednesday afternoon.
Kampala Queens will play against Rines SS WFC in their next game on Sunday 7th April at Lugogo hoping to intensify their title defense campaign.
