Buluuli are set to appoint Anthony Bongole as their new head coach for the upcoming Masaza Cup tournament.
Swift Sports understands Bongole’s representatives and Buluuli Ssaza management are in the final stages of negotiations.
In case the deal materialises, he will replace John Mubiru who was in the dug out in the previous edition.
Bongole is also the assistant coach of FUFA Women Super League side Makerere University.
His task will be guiding them to their second Masaza Cup championship, they are the 2011 champions.
Bongole has previously coached Proline FC and Arua based side Dove All Stars.
The 2024 Masaza Cup tournament is expected to kick off on Saturday 22nd of June.
Buddu already confirmed the appointment of Simon Ddungu aka Dunga while Ssese will be under the stewardship of Andrew who was unveiled previously.
Bulemeezi are the reigning champions they defeated Gomba 1-0 in the previous edition to be crowned champions.
