URA FC have shortlisted three candidates for their newly vacant head coach position, Swift Sports reliably understands.

The three candidates are Alex Isabirye, Peter Onen and former SC Villa Greek coach Petros Koukouras.

Koukouras is currently unattached having left Rwanda’s Kiyovu Sports last year in November.

Isabirye is also a free agent after he parted ways with Express FC in the closing week of February.

It should be noted that Isabirye, who is also a former player of URA FC, was the last coach to win a league title for the club in 2011.

Peter Onen seems more of a surprise inclusion on this exclusive list, but has also previously been linked to this job a few years ago.

The former Cubs coach recently resigned from Busoga United last month and has lately been attached to regional league side Wembley FC.

Swift Sports understands URA FC have parted ways with David Obua who has been the club’s head coach for the past five months.

The club is reportedly under former player Allan Owiny on an interim basis.

The club is expected to name a new coach later this week or early next week.
