BUL FC returned to the top of the Uganda Premier league table with a gritty 2-0 win over Express FC on Saturday at Njeru Technical centre.
Ibrahim Orit netted in either half as Abbey Kikomeko coached returned to the top of the table for the first time since late February.
Orit fired the home side into the lead with a sensational strike in the 18th minute sending the Jinja based side faithfuls into elation.
With 15 minutes to normal time, Orit put the seal on BUL’s victory with another sublime finish.
BUL FC are now top of the Uganda Premier league table with 46 points, a point above second placed Vipers SC who have played a game less.
Kikomeko’s side next visit NEC FC on Wednesday, 24th April at Lugogo.
Express FC on the other hand are 9th on the log with 32 points they have garnered in 24 games.
The Red Eagles will next host third placed Kitara FC on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, action will resume on Sunday with fourth placed SC Villa taking on Soltilo Bright Stars at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
