Masaza Cup 2024:Buvuma name former Uganda U-23 midfielder as head coach

The management committee of Buvuma Ssaza team have appointed Michael Bukenya as their head coach for the 2024 Masaza Cup.

Bukenya replaces Ismeal Ndawula who was at the helms last year.

His replacement, Bukenya has previously worked at Mawogola, Buwekula, Busujju and Buluuli in the Masaza Cup.

Bukenya is currently serves as the head coach CatdaFC in Kampala Regional League and during last year’s edition was the Kooki Ssaza team coach.

He is a former Uganda U-23 midfielder at Kamwokya United, UPDF, Express, City Lads and Police.

Buvuma join Mawokota, Buddu, Gomba, Buwekula, Buluuli, Mawogola and Kyaggwe who are the other sides to have named their coaches for 2024 prestigious Buganda Kingdom competition.

Mawokota named Steven Bogere as head coach, Buddu will be under the stewardship of Simon Ddungu alias Ddunga, Felix Ssekabuza will be in charge of Buwekula while Frank Mulindwa, Anthony Bongoole and David Mutono are the head coaches at Gomba, Buluuli and Kyaggwe respectively.
