Goalkeeper John Collins Wesonga was part of the UCU team that lost the 2024 University League final to Nkumba University 3-1.
Wesonga who also features for Free Stars FC a Buganda Regional League entity is ready for new challenges ahead of him,
“We managed to make it to the recently concluded University League final. It was a result of hard work, combined efforts and determination and I thank all those that were part of the journey.”
“I have personal targets and I am very eager to feature in the upcoming Masaza Cup tournament and also upgrade to join a top flight side. I am very ready to give the best I can when an opportunity comes my way.”
He has previously featured for Buvuma and Buwekula in the prestigious Masaza Cup tournament.
Wesonga is also a former player at CATDA FC a Kampala Regional League entity.
