Soltilo Bright Stars stand in Kitara’s way for supremacy quest

Impressive new comers Kitara FC will visit Soltilo Bright Stars on Tuesday 14th-May at Kavumba Recreation grounds in a bid to keep their title hopes alive.

Kitara FC rallied from behind to defeat Busoga United 3-2 at Masindi in their previous game.

Soltilo Bright Stars played to a goalless draw with Maroons FC at Luzira.

Kitara FC is in the second position with 51 points only one point behind leaders BUL FC.

Soltilo Bright Stars is only playing for pride they are already safe in the tenth position with 31 points.

The first leg in Masindi ended 3-1 in favor of Kitara FC.

Paul Mucurezi scored a brace while the third goal for Kitara FC was scored by Jude Ssemugabi while Nelson Senkatuka scored the consolation for Soltilo Bright Stars.

Brian Ssenyondo the man in Kitara FC’s dug out anticipates a tough tie but hopeful of positive results,

“Soltilo Bright Stars is not an easy side but we managed to defeat them in the first round, sides that are playing for pride are not easy to face but we are ready to fight on and get the three points.”

“We have two injuries George Ssenkaba and Ibrahim Magandazi this leaves us with a variety of players. “

Victory will see Kitara FC move on top of the table incase BUL FC fails to win against Mbarara City FC in Mbarara.
