The Uganda Premier league Secretariat has revealed the coronation arrangements for the 2023/24 champion.
According to UPL, Philip Omondi Stadium where NEC FC will host current league leaders SC Villa has been selected as the grand venue where FUFA President Moses Magogo and other distinguished guests will be.
Should SC Villa, BUL FC or Vipers emerge as champions on Saturday, 18th May, the crowning ceremony will be done on the same day but if Kitara clinch the title the coronation ceremony will be done on Sunday.
SC Villa leads the table standings with 54 points with BUL FC and Vipers SC second and third respectively on 53 points.
On the final, SC Villa will be seeking to clinch a record extending 17th league title away to NEC FC while BUL FC will lock horns with relegation bound Busoga United.
Reigning champions Vipers SC will host Mbarara City at Kitende as they seek for unprecedented third successive league title.
