Uganda Premier league champions SC Villa have agreed terms with former Bright Stars left back Denis Kaka Omony.
Last week, Omony confirmed his departure at Bright Stars following expiration of his contract.
This website understands that Omony has agreed to join the record Uganda Premier league champions on a three year employment contract.
He played 25 games last season and scored one goal with two assists and made his national team debut as Uganda faced Comoros and Ghana in Morocco in March this year.
The development comes at a time when there is uncertainty regarding Joseph Kafumbe’s contract extension at SC Villa.
Kafumbe is currently out of contract following expiration of his three year deal at Villa and has been reluctant over extending his stay.
SC Villa have already signed Mbale Heroes defender Geoffrey Lubangakene this transfer window.
The Jogoos have also lost three of their title winning members in skipper Kenneth Semakula, attackers Umar Lutalo and Abas Kyeyune.
Dusan Stojanovic’s men will represent Uganda at the forthcoming CECAFA Kagame Cup due in Zanzibar which is scheduled to take place on July 6-22nd.
