Mbarara City FC have officially announced the appointment of Charles Livingstone Mbabazi as their new head coach.
As earlier reported three weeks ago, Mbabazi agreed terms of a two year contract with the Ankole Lions to be their coach ahead of the upcoming season.
This will be Mbabazi’s third stint at Mbarara City having previously taken charge of the Ankole Lions in 2018 and 2021.

He is replacing Wasswa Bbosa who was Mbarara City’s coach for only one season.
Mbabazi has been a free agent since April this year when he officially parted ways with Vipers SC after only three and a half months in charge.
He is expected to guide the Ankole Lions back to the rails since the club finished 11th on the table last season.
He has previously coached a number of clubs like Arua Hill, URA FC, Kyetume, Bright Stars, Onduparaka and Masavu FC.
