Mawokota, Buwekula held as Buddu returns to winning ways

Buddu returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Kyaggwe on Sunday at Masaka Recreation grounds.

Sharifu Lubega scored the all important goal as Buddu who lost to Buwekula in their previous game maximized points.

Buwekula played out to a 1-1 draw away to Buluuli on Saturday at St.Lawrence Playground.

Buwekula had previously won both of the first two games against Kyadondo and Buddu respectively.

Mawokota also played out to a goalless draw with Kabula at Bakijjulula playground on Saturday.

Meanwhile, defending champions Busiro remain winless after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Ssese.

Defeat to Ssese also led to the resignation of their head coach Ibrahim Kirya. They have only managed a single point in their first three group games this term.

Bulemeezi prevailed 3-1 over Buvuma while Kyadondo beat Kooki 2-0.

Butambala maximized points for the first time this season with a 2-1 away win at Bugerere.
