Uganda Cranes skipper Khalid Aucho returned to action as Young Africans beat Coastal Union 1-0 in the Tanzania Premier League this evening.
Aucho was playing his first game since recovering from the injury he picked during the recently concluded international break.
The Cranes midfielder picked an injury in the aftermath of Uganda’s 3-1 loss to Mozambique while in preparation for the home game against Guinea.
Ivorian forward Pacome Zouzoua scored the all important goal to guide Yanga to a slim but crucial victory over Coastal Union.
Yanga currently top the NBC Tanzania Premier League table with 64 points from 24 games played.
Simba, currently second placed, are trailing Yanga by seven points having garnered 57 points from 22 games played.
Yanga are seeking a fourth straight league title having won the championship in the last three seasons.
