Newly promoted UPL side NEC FC are in advanced talks with Wakiso Giants FC head coach John Ayala Luyinda.
In case the deal materialises Ayala will replace Micheal Skills Lukyamuzi who led the team to the top flight.
As a footballer, Ayala played for Kampala United for Water FC, SC Villa and KCCA FC.
His coaching path roots from KCCA where he worked with Abdullah Mubiru and later at Police FC. He is currently coach of Wakiso Giants FC.
At the helms of Wakiso Giants, they finished the recently concluded season eighth with 36 points.
NEC FC earned top flight promotion after finishing third with 57 points from 30 games behind leaders Kitara FC and Mbarara City FC.
