The organizers of the Pepsi University league rewarded the outstanding performers for the 2025/26 season at the awards gala held on Monday at Kati Kati Restaurant.
Muteesa I Royal University captain Lutwama Ali who won the 2025/26 Pepsi University Football League title was named as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season.
He beat YMCA goalkeeper Ssebabulya Kevin and Uganda Martyrs University striker Obedgiu Ronald to the gong.
Lutwama was involved in eight goals in the 10 matches he played, scoring four times and providing four assists.
He also won other awards which included the Best Midfielder, Most Assists, and was named in the team of the season.
