Proline inch closer to Big League return with first leg win over Ntungasaze FC

Proline FC defeated Ntungasaze FC 2-1 in Mityana as Busei FC and MYDA FC played to a one all draw in the first leg Regional League Promotional playoffs played on Saturday 22nd-June.

Kevin Obua and Daniel Kazibwe scored each in the 43rd and 78th minutes respectively giving Proline FC a first leg advantage against Buganda Regional League champions Ntungasaze.

Ntungasaze’s consolation goal was scored by Ronald Kaye from the spot.

The two sides will face off in the return leg on Thursday 27th June at MTN Omondi Stadium Lugogo and the aggregate winner will automatically join the FUFA Big.

Sharafa Mukiibi and Innocent Matege scored for MYDA FC and Busei FC as the two sides played to a one all draw at Iganga Ssaza grounds.

The two sides will also play a return leg on Thursday 27th at Kongunga PS grounds to determine a side that will join the FUFA Big League.

Today Sunday 23rd June Northern Gateway will play against former UPL side Paidha Black Angels at UTC Lira grounds.

Ntoda FC will also host Buhimba Saints United FC at Kyamate grounds.
