NEC FC have agreed terms with former SC Villa and Mbarara City midfielder Amir Kakomo.
Kakomo is currently a free agent following expiration of his short term employment contract at Mbarara City FC whom he joined in January.
He has agreed to join NEC FC on a two year deal.
Kakomo has previously featured for SC Villa, Gaddafi FC and lately Mbarara City FC.
NEC have also signed FUFA Big League top scorer Dickson Niwamanya, veteran midfielder Muzamir Mutyaba, Isma Kawawulo and also beefed up their coaching staff with James Odoch.
Hussein Mbalangu will continue as the club head coach. The tactician helped NEC finish 6th in their maiden league season and were also runners up in the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
