NEC FC have completed the signing of Maroons FC goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo.
Swift Sports Uganda understands that Ssebwalunyo has put pen to paper on a two year employment contract with the Hussein Mbalangu coached side.
The custodian leaves Maroons FC after just one season. He returned to the Luzira based side at the start of last season from URA FC.
Maroons FC named Ssebwalunyo as the player of the season at Maroons FC for his incredible performances during the 2023/24 season. He finished the league campaign with 11 clean sheets.
At his new home, Ssebwalunyo will battle for a starting place with veteran goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan.
At Maroons he had replaced Simon Tamale who left the club for Rwanda side Rayon Sport FC at the end of the 2022/23 season.
Ssebwalunyo has also previously featured for BUL FC before he joined Maroons and URA FC.
